Age: 28
Gender: Male
Occupation: Rakugo performer

A skilled rakugo performer and apprentice of Taifu Toneido. Witness of AA6-4.

Personality: Uendo is a showman's showman, able to switch between characters at the drop of a hat. He's got all the confidence in the world in his skills, but in court gets a bit flustered.

Spoiler: AA6-4
Uendo has dissociative identity disorder. His other personalities include "Patches", a self-described jester, "Kisegawa", the haughty courtesan, and "Owen", a 5-year-old boy.

Misc Facts: To be added.

Friends and Family: Apprentice to Taifu Toneido alongside Geiru.

Name Origin:
English: From "wind" and "tornado".

Japanese: Senpū means "hurricane". Bifū means "breeze."

Spoiler: AA6-4
English: As for his other personalities, "Patches" is likely a reference to the archetypical jester's cap. "Kisegawa" comes from the rakugo performance "Omitate". "Owen" is unclear (maybe just chosen to make a certain puzzle possible to translate.)

Japanese: Alongside "Kisegawa" as a rakugo reference, taikomochi Ippachi and the boy Sadakichi appear in many stories.

Background: Uendo is the younger of Taifu's two apprentices, but his natural skill at rakugo means he was promoted ahead of Geiru. The case takes place on the day he was to formally take the name "Uendo".

Spoiler: AA6-4
Uendo has dissociative identity disorder, a fact he hides from anyone outside of the rakugo troupe lest it be seen as giving him an unfair advantage. One of those personalities, five-year-old Owen, is unique in that he doesn't share memories with the rest of Uendo's personalities.
