Beh'leeb Inmee / Saara Aatam

サーラ・アータム

Age: 31
Gender: Female
Occupation: Housewife

Tahrust's widow, who has also been hosting Maya during her stay. Witness of AA6-3.

Personality: By the time we meet Beh'leeb in AA6 she's been devastated by the loss of her husband and the fact Maya has been arrested as a suspect. As such, she largely just wishes to be left alone, and is understandably reluctant to speak to Phoenix. However it's clear that underneath her grief, she's a sharp, principled woman willing to do what it takes to protect those important to her.

Misc Facts: Beh'leeb is a fan of "the Plumed Punisher", the Khura'inese knockoff of the Steel Samurai, much to Maya's delight.

Friends and Family: Wife of Tahrust Inmee and mother to their unborn child. Caretaker of Puhray Zeh'lot, and close with Maya, who's been training with Tahrust.

Name Origin:
English: "Beh'leeb Inmee" = "Believe in me".

Japanese: From "sarasara", "flowy or silky" (as in her hair.)

Background: Beh'leeb is Tahrust's loving wife, who's supported him for years in his work and at home. Until recently she would perform a ritual with him every year that celebrated the legendary avian princess of Khura'in, but she recently became pregnant and so had Maya take over.

Spoiler: AA6-3
Beh'leeb, like her husband, is a member of Khura'in's revolutionary forces. Together the two of them oversaw a hideout for the revolutionaries at a local mountain shrine, and used the equipment there to marshal their comrades. Shortly before AA6-3, Tahrust and Beh'leeb were preparing to help revolutionary Datz Are'bal escape from the prison atop the mountain, but Zeh'lot - actually a member of Inga's secret police watching for revolutionary activity - suspected them and sent a threat to the pair. The day before the ritual, Zeh'lot trailed Beh'leeb to the hideout and she killed him in self-defense after he attacked her. Beh'leeb told Tahrust what had happened, and he assured her he would take care of it; she couldn't have imagined he intended to protect her with his life.
