Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin / Potdino Nikawas

ポットディーノ・ニカワス

Age: 36
Gender: Male
Occupation: Temple Caretaker/Musician

A well-known and well-liked musician who also works as one of the caretakers of Tehm'pul Temple. Witness of AA6-1.

Personality: Andistan'dhin is all too happy to play the role of the genial musician, serenading the court as he testifies. Once he's pressed, though, he quickly shifts demeanour to a trash-talking hard rocker (who is nevertheless just as popular with the gallery.)

Misc Facts: That's an aux cable in his hair, not a headband.

Andistan'dhin's instrument is called a Dahmalan.

Because he was a first-case witness with a very clear role in the case, the dev team decided to make him as suspicious as possible. Since he was one of the first characters created, they spent a lot of time on his designs and animations, and he became a staff and fan favorite.

Friends and Family: None mentioned, but he gives dahmalan lessons to the judge.

Name Origin:
English: "Pees'lubn Andistan'dhin" = (What's so funny about) "Peace, Love, and Understanding".

Japanese: Comes from pottode, ‘suddenly from the sticks/out of nowhere’ and niwaka, ‘suddenly’.

Background: Andistan'dhin is a beloved figure around Tehm'pul Temple and the Khura'inese capitol, known for performing backing music during Rayfa's ceremonial dances and for providing music lessons to anyone interested. Though he only moved to Khura'in from Europe about six months ago, he quickly became well-trusted, to the point that he's allowed to carry the key to the chest holding the Founder's Orb.

Spoiler: AA6-1
Andistan'dhin was approached by a supposed representative of the revolutionary forces in Khura'in, who offered him a significant payday if he stole the Founder's Orb. He happily did so, but when Paht tried the same thing he realized he had to shut Paht up before Andistan'dhin's own theft could be found out.
